Family reunion in Costa Rica. We rent Villa Mirador at Samara Beach. With 6 adults and 2 kids (Kaanan 4 and Kavi 2), a house is a much better option than the hotels. Villa Mirador is a luxury house with 4 bedrooms. It has a nice view of the ocean plus a beautiful pool which we enjoyed tremendously. The kitchen is modern and the living area is spacious. So that is how rich people live. The Villa is a 10-minute walk to Samara Beach. We rent a car anyway to shuttle people around.
Since the children were pretty young, we hung around the Villa and visited the beach and surrounding area. We went to the turtle conservation and watched them release baby turtles hatched in the center. We went on a hike and Kaanaa was very interested in the birds. The highlight of this vacation was when the holler monkeys came by the Villa and we could hear and see them. That was exciting. We celebrated LL’s birthday early with a cake. What a wonderful week to spend with families.
