I spent months to plan this SE Asia trip. Two professional travel agents told me it can’t be done. However, with newly familiarity with the internet, I was able to plan and book airfares, hotels and activities myself. Most of the trips were based on the Lonely Planet on SE Asia with many advices from friends. This trip is different from all previous trips as it is open ended. We purchased one way ticket from STL to Shanghai but I am leaving the rest of itinerary open and flexible
